1985 25' Macgregor Sailboat
I found a gentleman that was looking to trade his 1985 25' Macgregor Sailboat for a utility trailer. I had an extra trailer that I built from some accumulated left over materials. This was a match made in heaven!

The Boat was in a slip with out a trailer. I found a ski boat trailer and loaded up lumber for the temporary bunks and hauled her home.
The long shaft outboard motor started with seven pulls after a year and a half with no use. The blocks and running rigging were badly deteriorated. The sails, cushions, anchor w/chain and line, winch handles, gas tank, and canvas cover with windows for the pop-up were all stored inside and in great shape. The standing rigging and the keel haul cable were all in good condition.
I new we were in for some serious bottom work as it had been several years since her last haul out, at least it was fresh water.
After a year of sanding here and there on the bottom I brought in pro help and things have sped up.
